Golden Book Initiative - December 2006 |
| Within the framework of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology's dedication to the World Summit for the Information Society (WSIS) Plan of Action for International ICT development, the first volume of Egypt's ICT Golden Book came out in December 2006 attesting to CULTNAT's accomplishments in the field of ICT for cultural diversity and identity, linguistic diversity and local content. Among CULTNAT's projects included in the first volume are Culturama, Eternal Egypt and The Arab Memory Project. |

CULTNAT Research And Development Brochure - November 2006 |
| Within the IST 2006 Helsinki event: Strategies for Leadership and the launch of the FP7 Program, the IR department produced CULTNAT's first R&D brochure in cooperation with Dr. Thies Wittig, Managing Director of IT Consult GmbH, Germany (www.itconsult-eu.de), and currently MCIT consultant on EU IST affairs. The brochure's main concern is to highlight CULTNAT's cutting edge performance in immersive displays, augmented reality and panoramic photography as well as the center's involvement in relevant European Projects. |
