As per our mission, the Photographic Memory of Egypt program is continually collecting information and digitizing various collections of the works of Egyptian or Egypt-based non-national photographers. Examples of current research includes the collections of Lehnert and Landrock Cairo collection, Abdel Fattah Eid`s Nubia collection, and Antoun Albert`s Nubia collection.

This is a long term ambitious project that attempts to map the history of photographic activities in Egypt, trace the whereabouts and provide examples and information about photographic collections of Egypt worldwide.
